Fall Mini Sessions 2016

Plaid Daddy Photography will be having Fall Mini Sessions in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday the 16th.

The session price is $129 CAN

Mini sessions include:

30 minute mini photo session with David Kars – Plaid Daddy Photography
Approx 10 fully edited hi-resolution images to download with print release (delivery within 2 weeks)
Watermarked social media images to download
Online gallery to view images and order products
Availability to purchase print packages, prints, canvases, greeting cards, albums etc.

Sessions only include immediate family members and pets. If other family members are needed, a full lifestyle session can be booked at a different time and place if desired.

Location: Hiawatha/Kinsmen Park

30 minute family photo sessions begin at 10:00am and continue every 30 min until the last session of the day at 6:00pm on Saturday. Sunday sessions begin at 1:00pm and go to 5:30pm. Book your session today by contacting me through my contact page.

Kars-Jones Family – SSM, ON – Lifestyle

Seeing as I was already shooting a Family Session for The Bishop Family at Hiawatha Park (One of my most favorite places in SSM,) we decided to do a family photo shoot of our family. It was just after lunch and the sun was starting to melt off the little bit of snow we received overnight. As you can tell by my reddish cheeks and ears, it was still a little chilly in the early afternoon. But as the shoot progressed it got warmer and brighter. Hope you enjoy some of the crazy pics of my girls acting silly – what a fun day we had! As you can see in some of the photos the water level was super low. Some minnows were trapped in a small puddle in a depression in the lake bed that was almost dried up. Good thing my wife noticed and managed to rescue some of those minnows and helped them get back to the lake. I’m sure my youngest had something to do with minnow rescue…she always has something to do with activities that include animals. My little country girl 🙂
For those of you who know us, I have a question. “When did my oldest daughter grow up?” She’s almost as tall as her mother and is becoming a fine young woman. ( I feel old 😐 )
My wife’s parents were able to join us and we did a little mini shoot just for them too. Fun times!

Bishop Family – SSM, ON – Lifestyle

I woke up Sunday morning with 3 inches of snow on the ground and fall mini sessions scheduled for the afternoon. The weather man said it was supposed to be a sunny beautiful day. I guess, he didn’t say that overnight there was going to be snow! I was wondering if we were going to be able to complete the last weekend of our fall photo sessions. This session began with snow on the ground and trees and ended up being warm, sunny and beautiful. One of the nicest sunny afternoons this fall!

What a fun, charming family The Bishops are! Enjoy just a little of the fun we had.

Lodge Family – SSM, ON – Lifestyle

Saturday, Oct.10, 2015 was a beautiful Autumn Day in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Hiawatha park has always been a favorite place of mine to go for a hike, relax by the water or swimming in the falls (when we were kids.) It’s also a perfect place for fall family photos. The Lodge’s are family friends who I’ve been blessed to be able to photograph them during some of the most precious times in their lives. This will be the 3rd Photo shoot I’ve done with them. Their wedding was my very first photo shoot ever and my first wedding. Their little girl was the first newborn photo shoot, and to top it all off, they were the first fall mini-session family photoshoot I’ve done. Whew, that’s a lot of firsts.

It was a great day and the fall colors were absolutely amazing…couldn’t have asked for much more!

Family Photo Shoot – My girls – Fall 2013

On a beautiful evening in late September 2013 I had a chance to take my lovely girls to mockingbird hill farm in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario for a fall family photo shoot. The light was perfect, the air was warm, and the girls were so happy to wear their new clothes that they picked out earlier in the summer. The next evening we had planned to have the whole family out for a photo shoot, so it was a great evening to spoil the girls with their own photo shoot. Farmer Bob was kicking around as usual and had some great ideas for locations on his amazing property. Great memories!

Wamsteeker Family – Sault Ste. Marie, MI – Lifestyle

This family lifestyle session was originally supposed to happen the day before, but the weather forecast didn’t look promising (but it ended up being a great day.) So it was rescheduled a day later, and to make it even more ironic the day was supposed to be clear and sunny, but it was raining just beforehand and we were wondering if it was going to clear up. Well, it turned out to be an amazing evening in Sault, Michigan for the shoot. This family is one big bundle of energy! It was non-stop action from beginning to end. What a great family! The kids couldn’t wait to jump in the water, and get a big ice cream cone that was ~~bribed~~ promised during the shoot. 🙂 Hope you had a great time.
